Super Liga is an amateur grassroots football league for women and non-cis gender players. Super Liga is sanctioned with the Amateur Football Alliance.

As an amateur grassroots football league, we aim to create a fun, safe and inclusive environment for all our teams and players. We are also sanctioned because Super Liga wants to use full qualified referees.

All teams joining Super Liga will be asked to affiliate with the Amateur Football Alliance on an annual basis.

Super Liga are currently part on an inclusive pilot league programme, approved by the Amateur football Alliance which enables Super Liga to recognise and respect our LGBTQ+ players and for everyone to feel welcomed and valued. Trans players are welcome to play in Super Liga.

The Amateur Football Alliance understand the concerns the recent policy change has caused amongst members of our community and are continuing to lobby on the benefits of inclusive football in line with our strategy for 2024-2028.

The inclusive pilot project will run until end of June 2026. Super Liga will collaborate with teams to continue to create an inclusive environment whilst continuing to liaise with the Amateur Football Alliance as to what an inclusive offering will look like in 2026/2027.

The administration of Super Liga is run through the Full-Time website and in the event of a disciplinary matter, this will be forwarded to the Amateur Football Alliance to ensure a fair investigation is carried out.

We currently run combined 5 and 7-a-side leagues on Sunday’s from 11am, with teams playing 2 games of 30-45 minutes each Sunday. League duration is 14 weeks. Teams play 2 weeks followed by a week’s break. Our venues are in the heart of Central London. Super Liga welcomes all players of any ability over the age of 18 years of age. .
